well, ive had that problem before myself...

One thing you can do, is create a few of your OWN work. take some of your characters and go wild!!! Make them into examples and showcase them on your commission page

let people see what they can get!

another good way to expose youraelf, is to make a journal or something, saying that the first 3 or 5 or however many people get a free commission as long as they let you do more than just a plain character drawing but rather a fullblown art piece with their character included. i know it sounds bad, like your working for free, but it does help when people can see what you do with their characters too and gives ya some practice and ideas for the rest of your pics

Well...

I'd actually consider it, if you posted prices and things...That and I have a lot of patience .

The only thing is that you'd probably be bored with something from me, since all of what I've commissioned is my own characters...But honestly, I love giving creative freedom to the artist. In fact...I'd probably ask for something different in the background...

;___; you make it seem like I told you you sucked...and for your not just characters dilema, why not draw a few landscapes and random sceneries/what you want to do for commissions and set prices for those? They'll all be different for sure, but itd be a good place to start. c;
